Founded in January 2024 by Lounseny Soumah, Maxime Combes and Charly Ferrante, Glouglou Production is a production company and creative agency based between Paris and Marseille, France and active worldwide.
All three of us began our careers working for major agencies and well-known brands as freelancers. Over time, we realized we wanted to take everything we had learned and put our knowledge, experience, and creativity at the service of our own entity.
Driven by a shared passion for visual storytelling, cinema, technology and alternative culture in general, we imagine and produce projects where the discipline of executive production meets creative freshness, always within a human, collaborative and diverse environment. Currently active mainly in the fashion industry, we aim to expand our collaborations across other fields and mediums.
Throughout our years as independants and now as our own agency, we created work relations with a global network of top-tier freelancers, allowing us to collaborate with some of the freshest graphic-design studios, cutting-edge post-production agencies, and exceptionally skilled independent talents across video, photography, and event production. This extended creative ecosystem enables us to assemble the perfect team for every project, no matter the scale or vision.
FOUNDERS
LOUNSENY SOUMAH
Lounseny Soumah grew up between Marseille, Paris and Guinea, shaping a visual sensibility influenced by genre cinema, rap music, and afro-descendant subcultures. While studying cinema, he began his career as a photographer, then expanded his craft on film sets as a technician before stepping into directing and producing.
In 2024, he co-founded GLOUGLOU with Maxime Combes and Charly Ferrante, building a production company and creative agency designed to translate their shared vision and their passion for images and unique storytelling into distinctive, resonant projects.
MAXIME COMBES
Maxime is originally from the south of France and now lives in Paris, where his long-standing passion for music, film, and photography has shaped both his personal and creative identity. His curiosity, cultural influences, and love for visual storytelling naturally led him toward the world of audiovisual production.
Before GLOUGLOU, Maxime spent three years at the major creative agency YARD. During this time, he worked on a wide range of projects— from large-scale productions to smaller, fast-moving assignments requiring adaptability, resourcefulness, and a true “Swiss-army-knife” mindset. This experience gave him a strong foundation in navigating complex environments while maintaining a high level of creative and operational rigor.
He co-founded GLOUGLOU in 2024 with his partners Lounseny and Charly, driven by the desire to build a structure where artistic sensitivity and production expertise meet. Within the company, Maxime brings his flexible approach, his ability to adapt to both big and smaller scale projects, and his attentive, solution-oriented mindset.
CHARLY FERRANTE
Born in Grenoble and based in Paris for almost ten years, Charly has spent over eight years working across fashion, photography, music, and visual arts. Trained as a stylist, he collaborated with brands and artists before opening a vintage showroom that became a creative hub and helped him build a strong artistic network.
His multidisciplinary background naturally led him toward production. After years on sets and photo shoots, founding GLOUGLOU with Maxime Combes and Lounseny Soumah became a natural step. Within the company, Charly brings his artistic sensibility and his ability to connect creative worlds, ensuring each project remains visually coherent and culturally grounded.
